Experience
Providing full-service
testing to our clients since 1987, the
Analytica Group has an impressive history working for Federal, State and Commercial
organizations, involving extensive experience with all matrices, methods and
environmentally regulated programs. The
following project profiles highlight work performed on behalf of RCRA, CERCLA, SARA,
NPDES, UST/LUST, CLP, NVLAP and CWA programs.

International mining firm |
NPDES permit monitoring |
This site represents eight years of continuous monitoring work for a major gold mine. Wet chemistry and trace metal analyses on mine
discharge water requires level 3 QC and
monthly reporting on NPDES permit |
International mining firm |
Abandoned Non Producing
Operating Mine Sites
|
Analytica
provided analytical testing support services for a period of 6 1/2 years. Testing support
was provided for many different sites over the course of time which primarily consisted of
abandoned and non-producing mine sites that needed to be cleaned up as well as operational
mine sites that needed to be closely monitored for NPDES requirements. Many of the sites
were being cleaned up under USEPA CERCLA Superfund criteria and as such data deliverables
included full USEPA CLP data packages. All data produced was generated assuming the data
would ultimately end up in a court of law. Therefore much of the data submitted was
subjected to data validation utilizing USEPA data quality objectives.

Real Estate Property Transfer |
Analytica has provided testing and support
services for several years of site investigation and cleanup for the purpose of real
estate property transfer. Remote, abandoned sites were tested primarily for volatiles,
semi-volatile, metals and petroleum hydrocarbons. Large volumes of samples were shipped
simultaneously from multiple sites requiring strict coordination, communication, capacity management and reporting deadlines. |

Multi-State Asbestos Survey for Railroad Company
|
Analytica Solutions coordinated the asbestos PLM and TEM analyses on a multi-state railroad project with multi-state
field offices. The two year project
involved inbound samples directly to the laboratory from the railroad yards. Analytica coordinated the reports to
include the sampling locations for easy access by the project manager in the home office,
and electronically sent results to the individual offices for determination of additional
PLM Point Count or floor tile TEM analyses. Analytica's
electronic format assisted the project coordinators in knowing what was completed in each states and kept the project manager knowledgeable
on what had been received for the complete project on a day to day basis.

Lead Survey for Large Housing Authority
|
Analytica Solutions supplied Lead (pb) analyses for all buildings within
the jurisdiction of a large housing authority. This
3-year project provided the city with information for coordinating cleanup and demolition
action on the properties and housing involved. It
also acted as a comparison for a study by the housing authority on the reliability of the
XRF analyses versus the approved lead analysis methods on various matrices. The project also assisted Analytica in putting
together an independent study of what brand of wipes produced the most reliable analyses. The study was then presented to the EPA for their
review. The EPA, HUD #006700, reported final
recommendations on the best brands for wipe analyses in the Guideline for Evaluation and
Control of Lead Based Paint in Housing.

Multi-State Asbestos/Lead Survey
|
Analytica Solutions provided the asbestos and lead analyses for survey
work for estimating the value of property prior to the sale of the chain of retail stores. Coordinated the reporting from all the field
offices to the project manager and providing electronic spreadsheets for this project. Project length was for just over a year.
